the crocodile is longer than it is green

Oh my, I was just inspired to write a new piece of poetry. Check it out under the poetry section. Enjoy.

The largest thing on land that moves. Life-size replica of something that pretends to move. Google continues to rock it. The duct tape guys. I don’t know enough math to know if this is supposed to be a joke or not. Maybe you will. In fact, here’s the only one I can appreciate: “Theorem: a cat has nine tails. Proof: No cat has eight tails. A cat has one tail more than no cat. Therefore, a cat has nine tails.” I can’t do simple math without a computer. Not a calculator, mind you. It must be the regular Windows calculator program. Not set to scientific mode. Did you know the Win calculator had a scientific mode?

Ok, shoot. Here’s one more that got me. From: sld1n@cc.usu.edu — Prove that the crocodile is longer than it is wide.

Lemma 1. The crocodile is longer than it is green: Let’s look at the crocodile. It is long on the top and on the bottom, but it is green only on the top. Therefore, the crocodile is longer than it is green.

Lemma 2. The crocodile is greener than it is wide: Let’s look at the crocodile. It is green along its length and width, but it is wide only along its width. Therefore, the crocodile is greener than it is wide.

From Lemma 1 and Lemma 2 we conclude that the crocodile is longer than it is wide.

www.groovelily.com — saw this great band Thursday night in Cary at the Six String Cafe. Got some CDs and got each member to sign it. Thanks. Ok, I found this while searching for hell. Well, whether they identify it as unidentifiable or not, anything that suddenly disappears from the sky would appear to be a UFO to me. Japanese culture is interesting to me.
